Activating
your computer is an easy way to see New.net domain names.
This simple plug-in takes away the necessity of having to type
new.net after each url.
Tip*
Enter http://www.info.kids.new.net
in your url bar now to see the domain www.info.kids
After
you have activated your computer you will be able to view the
.kids domains by typing in the url www.info.kids
and not the new.net part.
Once the
plug-in is installed (Takes up to 10 seconds) you will be able
to view domains outside of the .com, .net, and .org domain spaces
and include the .kids network.
Users who
wish to view websites in the .kids network may either activate
their computers by downloading the "patch" from New.net
or you may simply type the url or your choice and add .new.net
at the end.
If you wish
to activate your computer then follow the instructions below.
1. Read
these instructions before beginning.
2. Click
here.
3. You will
see the New.net activation page and a download box will appear
asking you if you wish to install and run "Support for
New.net names"
4. Click
Yes
5. You will
be prompted to close and then reopen your browser window.
6. Upon
opening a new browser window you will be able to view the .Kids
network. type in www.info.kids
to see how it works.
7. You have
now activated your computer.
